Strategy to Develop E-Learning at the University of Strasbourg

Founded on January 2009, the University of Strasbourg was created by the merger of the three former universities: Louis Pasteur, Marc Bloch and Robert Schuman. During the merging process, a complete reorganization of internal services was conducted, and a strategic plan for the new university was defined.
In the domain of IT and ICT for education and research, the objectives of the university are to provide both students and academics efficient digital environments. The presentation will focus on the ICT plan for the years 2010–2013, describe the e-learning tools at the university and show how they influence teaching and learning.
